Medal of Honor European Assault Description

Since its debut in 1999, Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor franchise has continued its work as official flagship FPS IP. The series comes once more to your favourite console in the form of Medal of Honor: European Assault. The last MOH game to appear on consoles was Frontline, which charged the player with the sabotage of the top secret Nazi weapon, the HO-IX Flying Wing. In European Assault, you step into the boots of Lieutenant William Holt, the Army officer appointed as the first member of the newly formed Office of Strategic Services, or OSS. Your job will be to participate in some of the biggest battles in war torn Europe, gathering intelligence wherever you go. Once again, EA's Los Angeles team that brought you other games in the franchise have worked closely with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and the celebrated Captain Dale Dye to ensure that the game conveys both the atmosphere of WWII and the ethos of the Medal of Honor decoration. Immerse yourself in the chaos of an open battlefield, keeping in cover as you race to complete objectives. Additional, non-essential objectives will help you later in the game if you take the time, but the battlefield is rendered in real time so you'll have to hurry. Feud with enemy officers and lay your grudges to rest on the battlefield. Leave your squad in no doubt as to your wishes with simple and intuitive controls. Get nasty with the all new Adrenaline mode: charge up your Adrenaline bar by attending the wounded and dropping people with head shots. Unleash its power and you'll become invulnerable and able to despatch foes with a single shot… but only for a short length of time. Featuring levels set in the Battle of the Bulge and the battle of Stalingrad, MOH: EA could be your best chance to experience first hand on console the war in Europe, at its bloody, desperate, courageous heights in 1942.

i think this game is the best in the series but has a lot of faults first game in the series to have good grpahics rising sun looked like a PS1 game thing that was unforgiveable is that it doesn't have xbox live only lan where you'd need 2 xboxes to connect it should have xbox live one player seems bit easy on the normal setting and not tried it on the other setting looks like its going in the right direction but the series has a long way to go until it is a proper game

After the recent lacklustre games from the MOH series I wasn’t holding out much hope for European Assault. Maybe it’s because I’ve played Call Of Duty and Call Of Duty: United Offensive on the PC so much over the past year but whatever the reason is, I just couldn’t get into this game at all. Taking a step away from realism, MOH:EA took a step backwards in my opinion by opting for a more arcade like feel to this FPS and is truly disappointing. The shooting and moving mechanics are sup par and even on the hardest difficulty setting this game was a breeze. If you’re a fan of the series you should pick it up, if not you’ll do best to avoid.
