Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is the video game to accompany Columbia Pictures 3D animated movie of the same name. In the movie, archetypal mad inventor Flint Lockwood creates a machine that makes food fall from the sky. Great for the world's starving masses you might think, but mayhem when Clint's gizmo goes out of control. Which is where you step in. You play as Flint to clean up the mess you have created… which is only fair. Make use of Clint's inventions and crazy gadgets to melt, punch, smash, slice and dice, carry, and spray your way through a huge selection of food foes.
Be a hero, and use every gadget and vehicle at your disposal to save your hometown from a disaster of epic portions. Playing as Flint, you must move and transform giant food enemies into harmless gadgets through 20 levels. Handle Hamburgers using the Bigacious Pow automated punching machine or sling spaghetti with the Formakamjigger, and repel gummi bears in order to save the world. Clint is assisted by Sam Spark, plucky local weather girl, who used her forecasting powers to guide Clint to the site of the next foodstorm.
Clint's best friend is a perpetually hungry monkey called Steve. Just the kind of guy you need to have around when food keeps falling from the sky! In co-operative two-player mode, a friend can control Steve, and together, Steve and Clint can run, jump, climb, dodge and puzzle-solve through twenty levels of food mayhem. The levels are food themed, as you would expect, and range from the Jelly Castle to Ice Cream Falls.
