Acceptable Condition Guidelines

Please make sure that your games adhere to our acceptable condition guidelines set out below. This will ensure you are credited for your trade-ins and there is no delay in processing your order.

If the games you submit for trade in do not meet the criteria given below we will unfortunately be unable to accept the item and you will receive no credit for the item. We will also not return any rejected games and your disc will be recycled free of charge.

We can only currently accept trade in orders from the UK.

  • All games discs must be in good condition and in full working order.
  • The disc(s) must be in the case and it must be the correct disc(s) for the case.
  • All the original packaging must be present, including the games manual.
  • The disc must NOT be a copy or a pirate disc – we take this matter very seriously and reserve the right to take further action on this matter.
  • The disc must NOT be cracked or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage to it – light surface scratches are usually accepted.
  • The packaging and cases must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches but games manuals must be free from stickers, tears and other blemishes.
  • We will charge 50p per Game if the disc requires cleaning as a refurbishment fee, and 25p per Game if the case is broken.
  • We can only accept UK PAL video games.

Remember you must always include: The games disc, games manual, original games box.

Please remember that the games you trade in are offered to others to play so please only trade in games you would be happy to accept yourself.

Overlord II (PS3) Description

Codemasters has brought back the evil Overlord, and he's more evil than ever. The new Overlord fits right in with the ending of the last Overlord, thrusting you right back into the maniacal action of the first game. The player finds that the offspring of one of the previous Overlord's mistresses, (the Overlad, if you're feeling flippant) starts the game as a foundling and outsider, bullied by the children of the village and watched over by the currently-masterless minions who test him for his evilness before helping to bring destruction and devastation to the small Nordic village, bashing in snowmen and setting off fireworks to burn down small huts. It's all about being evil, see? It's up to you to control your minions and set about doing the most diabolical deeds that cross your diseased mind. As well as the youngster growing up into an almighty Overlord, a new power has arisen since the death of the first Overlord - one which resents and fears magic as the cause of the cataclysmic destruction at the end of the last Overlord's reign: the Glorious Empire. The Glorious (Roman) Empire has made it its duty to seek out and trap magical beings around the land to ensure that magic is restrained. The Overlord is not too happy about this and has to free and then use these creatures to further his own diabolical ends. Amongst the creatures used are the minions themselves who now have mounts depending on their colour: brown, burly brute minions get wolves to tear into Centurians on; red minions get to throw fireballs off the backs of fire salamanders; your green back-attacking minions get wall-climbing spiders and the blue, Zen-healing minions... This time you can choose between 'destruction' or 'domination': do you kill the villagers straight away, gaining all their tasty life-force in one go, or enslave them, letting them follow you, zombie-like, seeping life-force gradually? These are your, it must be agreed, evil options. Who says evil doesn't pay?

I never played the original but I had read that it wasn't evil enough. Well the latest installment certainly makes up for it. One of the first missions requires you to bash little adorable seals to pieces, ha. The graphics are good, controls are ok, game play is entertaining, and your minions are hilarious. It gives you great pleasure to march them off (using your right stick) and then watch them bring destruction on your unfortunate enemy. Dont worry if you loose a couple in the heat of battle because there are plenty of spawn points where you can replenish your evil but lovable numbers. All in all it's quite an enjoyable game. would I buy it? am not too sure, but just for the enjoyment and laughter then it's certainly worth a rent.
